Clever Arts Ltd (Клевър Артс ООД), a company registered in Bulgaria (company no. 203987047, VAT BG203987047), with registered office at 2 Eliezer Kalev St., Plovdiv, Bulgaria, trading as CreatorWarden ("we", "us"), operates creatorwarden.com. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and how you remove it.
We are the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our managing director is Bozhidar Yanakiev. You can reach us at hello@creatorwarden.com, or by post at the registered office above.
The short version. A free scan reads only data that is already public on YouTube. Paid tiers read additional data from your channel only after you explicitly grant access, and only to produce your report. We never sell or share your data, we never use it to train AI models, and you can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account.
When you request a free scan we process the channel URL you submit and your email address, so we can send you the report. To produce the report we read publicly available information about the channel through the official YouTube Data API:
All of this is visible to any member of the public. We do not sign in as you, and we do not download your videos.
If you subscribe and connect your Google Account, we request read-only access to additional data belonging to your channel. We ask only for the scopes we actually use, and each one maps to a specific part of your report:
| Data | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Captions and subtitle text | To locate policy risk in speech, and to tell you the timestamp rather than just the video |
| Video metadata as the owner (status, restrictions, licensing) | To see the actual state of each video instead of inferring it |
| YouTube Analytics revenue metrics | To detect limited-ads ("yellow dollar") status, which has no direct API |
We request no write access. We cannot upload, edit, delete or publish anything on your channel, and we cannot post on your behalf.
Our site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.
CreatorWarden's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
On automated analysis. Producing your report involves automated processing, which includes sending excerpts of your channel's content to a third-party language model provider so it can be assessed against YouTube's published policies. That processing happens solely to generate your report. The content is not retained by us beyond the periods described below, and it is not used to train any model.
In line with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies, data obtained from the YouTube API is either refreshed or deleted within 30 days. In practice we store findings — the clause, the evidence and the date — rather than bulk copies of your catalogue.
| What | Retention |
|---|---|
| Raw YouTube API data | Refreshed or deleted within 30 days |
| Caption text | Deleted once the report is delivered |
| Your reports and findings | Kept while your subscription is active, then deleted within 90 days of cancellation |
| Billing records | As required by Bulgarian and EU accounting law |
You can withdraw our access to your Google Account at any time, without contacting us, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation stops all further access immediately. To have data we already hold deleted, email us and we will do so within 30 days.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to receive it in a portable format. Our legal bases are performance of a contract (delivering the service you purchased), your consent (for Google account access), and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
Write to hello@creatorwarden.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection or your local supervisory authority.
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting and email routing), Google/YouTube (the API that supplies the data), a payment processor, and a language model provider used for the automated analysis described above. Some of these process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
The service is intended for professional creators and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify active subscribers by email.
